  Henry Mitchell and his wife Jane Ella Matthews, a musician and Feldenkrais practitioner, live and work in Greenville South Carolina.  His family has lived in the area for eight generations.  Mitchell has been working as an artist for forty-five years.  His sculpture, assemblages,  paintings and drawings are represented in over eight hundred public, corporate and private collections in six countries.
