Henry Mitchell and his wife Jane Ella Matthews, a Feldenkrais® practitioner, live and work in Greenville South Carolina. His family has lived in the Carolina upcountry for eight generations. Mitchell has been working as an artist for fifty years. His sculpture, assemblages, paintings and drawings are represented in over nine hundred public, corporate and private collections in eight countries.
